It was 8.30pm in the evening Ayesha was waiting for a bus to
reach her home. It was the most crowded
bus stop she had ever seen. She never used to travel by a city bus but that day
she decided to travel. That bus stop was located near the signal from where
vehicles were rushing like an air.
When she looked at signal it was turned red, her glare was
fixed on the timer screen and she was contemplating about the college girls and
the working women who daily travel by city buses. Signal was turned orange. As
soon as it transformed in to a green color vehicle’s started rushing. Suddenly
her glare went on the girl who was crossing the road. When she was at the middle of the road signal
was turned green. She got confused as
she was neither able to move back nor able to cross the road. Suddenly one auto
driver hit her, she fallen down on the road vehicles started to count their
destination by making the way from her side but nobody stopped to help her out
of that tragic mess. Ayesha looked around and rushed towards her as soon as she
rushed the girl who was standing near her rushed behind her. When they reached near the victim she was crying
so badly with the pain as well as she was damn scared. As soon as Ayesha touched
her hand to get her up, somebody touched her shoulders when she turned back two
unknown guys were standing behind her. Two
more bikes covered them and one of the guys told her to carry the victim’s
thing and he lifted that girl in his hands like a small kid two of his companions
followed them and they crossed the road. Blood was flowing from the victim’s knee.
Ayesha took out her scarf and wrapped it around the victim’s
knee to stop the blood flow. They served her two sips of water and without
asking her about her name and family decided to take her to the nearest
hospital. Now people gathered around them. One of their companions followed the auto
driver and caught him. When auto driver arrived group of the people said that
auto driver should take the victim to the hospital and he should pay the hospital
bill as a penalty.
Auto driver started arguing
with them one of their companions went to the traffic police and explained the scene.
When the traffic police learned the scenario he told his two colleagues to
follow him. As soon as auto driver saw the policemen he himself rushed towards
them and discussed something in Marathi language. Policemen allowed auto driver
to make a move.
While seeing it six of them got surprised. She was the only
girl between six of them who knew Marathi. The companion who was the witness
for the discussion between auto driver and policemen was unaware of Marathi language
so he didn’t understand the fact.
Policemen came towards the crowd and one of the policeman told
that they should call the victims family members. Listening to him Ayesha asked
him about the auto driver then one of them said proudly “today some VIP member
is going to visit the city for some mall opening event so we are busy with our
work and we can’t pay the attention to this matter.”
She was just about to
say something but the guy standing behind her read her mind and he squeezed her
shoulder to stop her words. So while looking at him she moved back and kept
quite. Then they took the victim to the nearest hospital and informed her
family members about her hospitalization.
Within next 15minutes her family members arrived in the
hospital and the most surprising thing came to the flash. Victim was a daughter
of one of the Police officer. When he learned the horrible scene happened with
his daughter his face turned red, he called one of the RTO head.
It was around 10.00pm
so Ayesha and her companions decided to vacate the place as victim was safely
handed over to her family members. Now her five companions were became her friends.
They were the five different people from three different states with three
different languages. They were new to this city and unaware of our city
language although when there was a bad time they rushed to help that stranger
victim but the people from our city were just watching the scene silently.
